Redefining Coastal Luxury: Inside Project Fairy Meadow

This project began as a pristine, new-build canvas. Our design team had a unique opportunity to map out an uninterrupted architectural narrative throughout the home’s most important spaces. This fluid experience begins the moment you step through the front door. The custom entry joinery transforms what could have been unused space into a highly practical mudroom drop zone for busy mornings and easy afternoons. Designed with everyday storage in mind, the integrated bench provides a convenient place to sit, while concealed storage keeps shoes, bags, and essentials neatly tucked away behind clean shadowline drawers. Rather than treating the kitchen as an isolated area, Marc Krauss curated a luxury flow using an intentional palette of textures that moves fluidly into the private master suite. The main cooking and dining zone welcomes an open, light-filled ambience, beautifully balancing the organic warmth of vertical timber grains with soft, deeply veined stone surfaces.

This layout addresses the growing local demand for modern custom kitchen design that presents intelligent spatial workflow without sacrificing visual character. Every set of kitchen cabinets built for this Wollongong project features a handleless shadowline finger-pull profile, stripping away visual clutter so the focus stays entirely on the premium materials. It sets a new standard, proving that a home feels genuinely luxurious when the cabinetry flows seamlessly across every space.

Architectural Highlights & Custom Joinery

• Thoughtful Entry Mudroom: An everyday storage drop zone featuring an integrated seating bench, a curved end panel for a softer finish, concealed shoe storage, and a dedicated home for the robot vacuum hidden within the open kickboard.

• The Taj Mahal Stone Centrepiece: An expansive island bench and matching full-height rear splashback wrapped in exquisite quartzite-look stone, providing a soft, luxurious focal point beneath a custom curved white rangehood shroud.

• Hidden Butler’s Pantry: Tucked discreetly out of sight behind floor-to-ceiling timber cabinetry panels to keep the main open-plan entertaining space completely immaculate.

• Integrated Master Suite Bedhead: The rich timber detailing carries directly into the master bedroom, featuring a wall-to-wall timber bedhead panel complete with floating bedside tables.

• Luxury Walk-In Robe & Makeup Station: A massive, custom-configured WIR built with matching timber profiles, complete with open shelving, ample wardrobe hanging space, and a dedicated luxury makeup vanity station accented by an integrated mirror hub.
